Summary:

A now well-set fixture added to the diary in 2013. Friendly oppo, lovely ground, and the best pavilion this side of NW8, Madehurst ticks every box. The ground is sunk in a natural bowl of West Sussex downland. The square is flat but the outfield is heavily contoured and a nightmare to defend. It'd be good to get a win here once in a while...

Pit Stop:

The Spur at Slindon: pickled onions on the bar, ham, egg and chips on the menu. Old School, but a good school.
